Forehead Lifting – Brow Lifting

Forehead lifting operation is performed at the limit of forehead with hairy skin and from 1 cm from inside of the hair. A bothersome scar was available at the open forehead lifting operations performed before the endoscopic technique. During the operation performed by using endoscopic technique, it is entered through smaller incision areas. Nerve and vascular structures are kept after entering with 1 cm incision from 3-4 areas and forehead skin is lifted. The muscles forming the unwanted wrinkles between the eyebrows are freed. Forehead skin is stretched to the head bone with an endotin hanger. The endotin will disappear after two years by melting. The wrinkles can be fixed and the eyebrows can be raised as much as wanted with forehead lifting and brow lifting operation. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and takes 2 hours. The patient will stay in the hospital for one day. Most of the bruising and swellings will be healed in 7-10 days. The stitches will be removed after 10 days.
